WAVENURE is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator with strong experience to join its Team.
This position has responsibility for the development, support and maintenance of the IT infrastructure. This role will have full Senior Systems Administration responsibility for the physical and virtual estate, including input into architecture, strategy, design and implementation.
The candidate must be passionate and motivated to solve problems by autonomously finding creative solutions. The ideal candidate also has strong communication skills, is accustomed to working under pressure and has predisposition to teamwork.

Responsabilities

• Ensure 24×7 operations of mission-critical IT systems
• Overall responsibility for Disaster Recovery and IT security
• Patch application and system upgrades activities
• Managing incident through procedures and troubleshooting techniques
• Supporting development team about architectural design and implementation
• Support and maintain a wide range of hardware (Servers, Chassis, NAS…) to provide a reliable and highly available infrastructure service
• Providing day-to-day technical support to internal team as well as the external customers

Key competencies

• At least 5 years of experience in application server administration
• Previous experience in Operations and System Management context (Linux System, Distribution: Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat)
• Installation and monitoring of Apache and PHP, Java and Tomcat, Mysql server, Nodejs
• Monitoring and intervening (backup included) on Group DBMS (Mysql, Postgres, MariaDB, MongoDB).
• Excellent knowledge of WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, HTTPS, DNS, etc
• Knowledge of IP networks, dynamic routing protocols and VPN connections
• Strong experience with installing/managing SSL certificates
• Knowledge of clustering and load balancing technologies
• Knowledge of virtualization techniques
• Experience with monitoring technologies
• A solid understanding of tools such as CVS and Git;
• Good knowledge of Amazon Web Services
• Network security basics (firewalls)
• Fluent English speaking and writing

• Experience with administration of voip infrastructure
• Experience with Performance testing tools
• Experience with Google GSuite
